DC Personnel are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Milling Operator to join our client based in Coventry

Hours: 7:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday. 45 hours per week

Pay: Upto £39,000 per year DOE (A minimum of 2 years’ experience to achieve higher rate)

Full time Permanent role

You will:

• Have a background in engineering
• Executing works orders to the required specified quality, accuracy and defined output rate.
• Maintain working area to a high level of housekeeping.
• Be responsible for machine setup, monitoring and maintenance, ensuring high-quality standards

Knowledge & Skills:

• Previous machinist experience ideal
• Be able to operate CNC milling machines to produce precise parts and components
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine machining operations
• Basic computer skills.
• Workshop and production health & safety practices.

• Ability to learn and develop new skills
• Has a ‘can do’ approach
• Accurate and with a good attention to detail
• Ability to respond to short lead times requiring a flexible approach
