General Labourer

DC Personnel are currently recruiting for Labourers to work on a project in Hull, supporting an established company within the leisure industry.

Location: Hull, HU7
Start Date: Tuesday 1st September 2026
Hours: 8am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Job type: Temporary
About the Role

You will be assisting with general labouring duties within a plant room, including the lifting, moving and carrying of 20kg bags of filter media and assisting with their reinstallation into filter vessels.

This is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting, moving and carrying, so candidates must be comfortable with manual handling throughout the working day.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

Physically fit and comfortable lifting 20kg bags
Able to undertake regular lifting, moving and carrying
Reliable and punctual
Hard-working and willing to get stuck in
Comfortable working as part of a team
Previous labouring, construction, plant room or similar experience is desirable but not essential
