DC Personnel are looking for a Powder Coater for our client based in LE3

Hours: 7:00 – 15:00 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday

Pay: £13 – £15 per hour DOE (to achieve the higher rate a minimum of 2 years coating is required)

About the Role:

You’ll be working on the conveyorised powder line. Previous experience on a continuous line would be preferable, but not essential as training will be given.

Responsibilities:
• Helping with loading/unloading the line.
• Using cranes to load heavier items.
• Hand coating intricate parts to a high standard
• Able to overcoat using two coat powder systems
• Checking the quality of parts coated.
• Being able to coat to specified paint thicknesses
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
• Working to tight deadlines and meeting company production targets

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience powder coating to a high standard
• Hard working, reliable, flexible and available for overtime if required
• Able to work well in a team and communicate well.
• Must be well organised and responsible
• Must be able to work on their own initiative
• Have a good technical understanding of powder coating
• Willing to learn and grow in a high performance team
• The ideal candidate must be physically fit and active as the role is a labour intensive role in a powder coating workshop environment and may involve some heavy lifting.
