Powder Coater

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our client’s production team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous powder coating experience
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Have a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
Be reliable, hardworking and punctual
Have a positive attitude towards work
Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks
Have good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)

Role requirements

This is a hands-on role. Candidates must be fully conversant with, and have solid experience and knowledge of, powder coating processes. Experience in preparation work and wet spray painting would be highly advantageous.

You must be able to demonstrate safe and competent use of:

Powder coating equipment and spray guns
Surface preparation techniques, including cleaning and masking
Manual and powered hand tools
Measuring equipment
Quality inspection procedures
Health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment
Job type and hours

Job type: Permanent, full-time
Pay £13.00 – £15.00 per hour, dependent on skills, experience and ability
Hours: Monday to Friday
Overtime: May be required during busy periods

Experience and qualifications required :

Previous powder coating experience is essential
Experience in preparation work is desirable
Wet spray painting experience would be an advantage
Previous manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
