DC Personnel are recruiting for a Welder fabricator.

Due to continued growth our client in Leicestershire, a leading manufacturer of Conveyors and Mechanical equipment are recruiting for a fabricator welder to join their team.

Your main duties will be fabrication of conveyor components, you will have the ability to adapt to different work sheets to different specs, includes steelwork, batch work, as well as other general duties such as Jig, saw cutting and punching assembly of components.

This is a full time, temp to perm role.

Experience in MIG welding and ability to read technical drawings is essential.

Pay : £16 – £17 per hour Depending on experience, to be considered for the higher rate an extensive mechanical knowledge and skillset is required

Hours : 7:30 to 5pm Monday-Friday with an early finish Friday (4.5 day working week) overtime at time and a half available on Saturdays.

Expected to work 42 hours per week

Ideally you will have :

A minimum of 2 years Fabrication/ MIG Welding experience
Ability to read and fabricate from technical drawings
Good mechanical engineering knowledge
Ability to use a variety of machinery – saw/guillotine/metalworker etc
Work from own initiative and report any issues to the supervisor
